Openings

  • Inspect/remove mesh cover.
  • Sink cover grommets.
  • Inspect pump, filter, actuator.
  • Remove and stow all rubber plugs and winterizing accessories.
  • Inspect, assemble, and test all equipment (pumps, filter, actuator, salt cell, etc.).
  • Clear and prime lines, install pool fittings (returns, skimmer baskets, vacuum fittings, etc.).
  • Pressure, leak, and flow checks.
  • Install all pool fixtures, handrails, diving boards, et cetera.
  • Apply seasonal opening chemicals: shock, salt/chlorine, alkalinity, calcium hardener, algaecide, and metal/stain/scale treatment. Chemicals may be provided by customer or by Cusoon.
  • Brush sidewalls, floor, and all features.
  • Fold and stow cover at customer discretion. Cover must dry before summer storage.
  • Store all winterizing fixtures for easy fall closing.
  • Customer should run pool continuously for minimum 72 hours.

Weekly Service

  • Inspect pool and all equipment (pump, filter, control panel, actuator, etc.).
  • Brush sidewalls.
  • Skim pool surface.
  • Empty pump and filter baskets.
  • Vacuum floor and all features.
  • Clean filter elements as needed, usually 3-4x per season.
  • Clean salt cell as needed, usually 2-3x per season.
  • Test all chemical levels. Additional scale/phosphate testing as needed.
  • Apply chemicals (customer- or company-provided).
  • Adjust suction and returns as needed.
  • Final equipment, cleanliness, and water clarity check.

Closings

  • Confirm all equipment operating normally.
  • Remove and store all features, handrails, diving boards, et cetera.
  • Remove and store all fixtures and fittings (returns, baskets, actuator parts, etc.).
  • Brush sidewalls, floor, and features.
  • Apply seasonal closing chemicals.
  • Disassemble, inspect, and stow all equipment.
  • Clear all lines to correct psi with outboard air compressor.
  • Install winter rubber plugs/stoppers. Replace cracked rubber plugs as needed.
  • Inspect and install mesh cover, seat grommets.
  • Store equipment/pool fittings and fixtures for easy spring opening.

Hot Tub Service

  • Clean filters, inspect pump, and inspect heating elements.
  • Brush and vacuum sidewalls, floor, and features.
  • Test all chemicals (customer- or Cusoon-provided).

Equipment Repair

  • We service all major brands of pumps, filters, salt cells, control panels, automated chemical systems, and automatic water level regulators.
  • We thoroughly inspect equipment and diagnose possible causes.
  • We always attempt to repair equipment first and provide good/better/best alternatives.
  • We cannot perform electric work or plumbing exterior to the pool system itself. We coordinate with your contractor as needed.

Tile Repair

  • Highly specific - call or email to set up a visit.
  • Most tile repair and feature installation must be done between mid-June and mid-September due to opening and closing seasons.
